Computrainer

What is a Computrainer Class?

Participants ride their own bikes that are set up on a “computrainer”.

A computrainer is a indoor cycling trainer that measures wattage (the amount of work that you are putting out via force (resistance) and velocity (cadence). The more wattage you put out, the faster you go! So, we work on building your functional threshold wattage (FTP) to increase your speed and fitness. Everyone works within their customized zones, but with the energy and comradery of doing a group workout.

Over the course of the 8-16 weeks, your FTP should increase and your zones will become higher.

Classes are objective and progress is measurable. Training with power is a great asset for the time crunched athlete!

Find out more about computrainers at www.racermate.org.
