The Fitness Lab offers group fitness classes to the public that include a variety of different programs including yoga, pilates, and other specialty classes.

Class Descriptions

Pilates – Intermediate
Instructor: Whitney Burdzilauskas
Standard Days & Times:

  • Mondays at 6:45 a.m.
  • Fridays at 10:15 a.m.
  • Saturday at 12:00 p.m.

Description: The intermediate Pilates class is appropriate for most active individuals who have a general understanding of basic Pilates fundamentals and moderate core strength.  This class will focus on core strength, hip and pelvic stability, posture and flexibility.  Modification options will be available to either increase or decrease the difficulty level.

Circuit Breaker
Instructor: Danielle Andrews
Standard Days & Times:

  • Tuesdays at 5:30 a.m.
  • Thursdays at 5:30 a.m.

Description: We will use every piece of equipment in our arsenal to give you the best total body workout possible.  The class format will have a lot of variety, and we can guarantee your muscles will be cooked by the end.  Modifications will be provided to increase or decrease the difficulty of the movements.

BOSU (Stability and Core)
Instructor:  Anne Clinton
Standard Days & Times:

  • Saturdays at 10:15 a.m.

Description: This class will utilize the BOSU ball to work your core inside and out!

The BOSU ball is an incredible piece of equipment to challenge your balance and your stabilizing core muscles. This class will use the BOSU ball for a  total body workout!  The BOSU ball takes some practice, so give it a few sessions to get comfortable and let your neuromuscular system adapt!

Yoga – Beginner/Intermediate
Instructors: Sarah Reuter, Sumitra Ghate, Jessica Niemann, Courtney Summers
Standard Days & Times:

  • Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m.
  • Fridays at 5:45 a.m., 6:15 p.m.
  • Sundays at 4:00 p.m.

Description: Beginner to intermediate yoga class great for relaxing your mind while working your body.
